1) Steel ball quality

Large, resulting in high ball consumption, and even affect the grinding efficiency and fineness; the quality of the cast steel balls is better, they are all cast from round steel, the wear resistance is better, and the speed of the reduction of the grinding ball diameter It is more balanced and will not cause gradation deviation;
2) Too many invalid balls
Too many failed balls and increased broken ball rate will lead to an increase in the bearing capacity of the ball mill and increase the power consumption, which is also one of the reasons for the high ball consumption;
3) The proportion of large diameter steel balls is high
If the large-diameter steel balls in the mill account for more than 70%, the action area of the grinding balls will be reduced. We know that the grinding efficiency of the ball mill is calculated by the sum of the work done by each steel ball. Too many large balls lead to many The grinding ball does not exert its maximum efficiency, which is also an inevitable result of the decline in the grinding efficiency of the ball mill.
